Welder / Fitter - Structural

We are seeking reliable and motivated Structural Shop Fitters and FCAW Welders to join our team. This position involves fitting, assembling, and welding structural steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings. Candidates should have experience with Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) and be committed to producing quality work in a safe shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble structural steel components according to drawings and specifications.
• Perform FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) on structural steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
• Measure, align, and verify dimensions of fabricated parts.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a structural fitter, welder, or fabricator preferred.
• Ability to perform FCAW welding on structural steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift, move, and work with heavy steel components.
• Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.

Pay

• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
